About the Israel Allies Foundation
Pioneered by MK Rabbi Binyamin Elon, the International Israel Allies Caucus Foundation (IIACF) is dedicated to the purpose of promoting communication and information sharing between parliamentarians and legislators the world over who share a belief that the State of Israel has the right to exist in peace within secure borders.
In 2004 a group of Israeli Knesset members gathered together to form the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus. These Knesset, members spanned the spectrum of political parties in Israel. They came together to acknowledge the growing strength of the Israel supporting community within the Christian Churches and the need to develop better ties between Knesset Members and pro-Israel Christian leaders the world over.
In 2006 the U.S. House of Representatives formed the first reciprocal caucus to the Knesset Caucus, the Congressional Israel Allies Caucus. Since then additional caucuses have been formed in Uruguay, Brazil, South Africa, Finland, England, Japan, The Philippines, South Korea, Canada, Malawi, and list continues to grow.
The International Israel Allies Caucus Foundation (IIACF) was formed to become the umbrella for coordinated activities of these caucuses from around the globe. Together they work to bring a unified voice on issues and legislation regarding Israel world-wide.

The Israel Allies Foundation supports the Congressional Israel Allies Caucus in its leadership role within Congress and seeks to engage and interact interfaith leaders and organizations with this important body of lawmakers. Established in 2006 by then Rep. Dave Weldon, Rep. Trent Franks, Rep. Eliot Engel and Rep. Gene Green as the only bipartisan pro-Israel Caucus in the House of Representatives, the Congressional Israel Allies Caucus has spearheaded numerous pro-Israel initiatives in Congress. Not only has the Caucus been quick to condemn both political and physical attacks on the Jewish State, but it has sought to pre-empt initiatives designed to weaken Israel’s international standing and security.
This vital work is accomplished through cooperative initiatives and events and has led to briefings on pertinent issues, press conferences, and hosting interfaith events that highlight the Caucus’s legislative initiatives with leaders from around the country.
The Foundation addresses a range of issues, most of which are spearheaded by the Caucus. These issues include moving the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's united capital, addressing Iranian nuclear ambitions, making sure US funding does not go to terror connected entities, fighting against the delegitimization of Israel, and holding the UN and UNRWA accountable. These issues are gravely important as US foreign policy has strategic bearing on our country’s security. Recent Palestinian efforts for unilateral declaration of a Palestinian state through the UN General Assembly endeavor to bypass peace negotiations with Israel and further reveals the true intentions of the Palestinian Hamas-Fatah unity government.
The Israel Allies Foundation is working to support our members in Congress in their fight to keep America the strong, exceptional nation it has always been, by leading US support for our most loyal ally - Israel. We invite you to join with us!
